SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29
The name of the season of Advent originated from the Latin word, adventus, which means “coming”. Our Advent season is a time of expectation and waiting for the coming of Christ – we prepare for his second coming as we celebrate his first coming. How will you prepare for Christ’s coming? Just remembering what was, or preparing for what will be? Come, join in the preparations.
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints. — Hebrews 6:10 (NASV)
